Assistant Principal

Douglas High School is thrilled to welcome Mr. Alex Garrison as our new Assistant Principal! Mr. Garrison brings over 10 years of experience in education, with a background that includes special education, physical education, coaching, and instructional leadership.

A lifelong resident of Arab, Alabama, Mr. Garrison is passionate about building strong relationships, supporting teachers, and helping all students grow and succeed. He holds multiple degrees in education, including a Master’s in Special Education and a certification in Instructional Leadership, while currently pursuing an Ed.S. in the same field.

Mr. Garrison is excited to bring his experience and commitment to student success to Douglas High School. Please help us give him a warm welcome to the Eagle family!
