Mrs. Deeya Holland, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Deeya Holland joined DHS as an assistant principal in July of 2021. Mrs. Holland previously taught high school science for eighteen years and has served in various leadership roles throughout her tenure as an educator. Mrs. Holland is a proud graduate of Douglas High School. She received a B.S. in biology and MS.Ed. in secondary science education from Jacksonville State University, instructional leadership certification from The University of Alabama, and Ed.S. in instructional leadership from The University of West Alabama. Mrs. Holland and her husband, Tim, have two sons, Jaxon and Jaden. She is excited to be back at her alma mater and looks forward to helping DHS students succeed.
